Terms of Service for MenuCraft
Effective date: September 11, 2026
1. Who we are and when these terms apply
These terms govern your use of MenuCraft, an app for kitchen inventory, food preferences, recipes, and meal suggestions. Summit Intelligence Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 202441229E), a Singapore company that operates as Insight Labs, provides MenuCraft. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Summit Intelligence Pte. Ltd.
Our registered office is 152 Beach Road, #23-02 Gateway East, Singapore 189721. Contact us at support@insightlabs.ai.
By using MenuCraft, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to use MenuCraft. Household information about children does not create an account for a child. Provide another person's details only when you have authority to do so, and share no more than the feature needs.
MenuCraft can assign you an anonymous account identifier. Anonymous use does not mean that uploads, preferences, or other app records cannot be linked to that identifier. Keep access to your device secure. Access to an anonymous account may be lost if you remove local app data, reinstall the app, or change devices. Contact support if you need help to identify your account.
You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. What MenuCraft does
MenuCraft can analyze photos of food, kitchen shelves, and receipts to suggest inventory items. You can review those suggestions, manage inventory, set food preferences, and request recipes or meal ideas. Features can differ by app version, region, and plan.
MenuCraft uses automated systems and third-party AI services. Results can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Review recognized items, quantities, dates, recipe ingredients, and preparation instructions before you rely on them. A photo does not establish an item's freshness, safe storage, or suitability to eat.
4. Food safety, allergies, and health
MenuCraft provides general food and meal information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose a condition, or replace a qualified health professional.
Allergy preferences and food filters do not guarantee that a recipe or ingredient is free from allergens. Check original packaging, ingredient lists, cross-contamination risks, storage conditions, cooking temperatures, and individual dietary requirements. Do not use an AI result as the sole basis for a food safety or medical decision.
Nutrition values, portion estimates, and suggested use-by dates are estimates. We do not guarantee weight changes, health outcomes, grocery savings, or reductions in food waste. Seek professional advice for a medical condition or a prescribed diet.
5. Your content and permission to process it
You retain the rights you hold in your photos, notes, and other content. You give us a non-exclusive permission to store, copy, transmit, and process that content as needed to operate MenuCraft, return results, provide support, and protect the service. This permission includes work by service providers described in the Privacy Policy. It does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
Upload only content you have the right to use. Avoid photos that contain unnecessary names, addresses, payment details, faces, or other private information. Do not upload another person's sensitive information without permission or another lawful basis.
AI results may resemble results provided to other users. We do not promise that an AI result is unique, accurate, or eligible for intellectual property protection. You must check that your intended use is lawful.
6. MenuCraft Pro subscriptions
The MenuCraft Pro annual plan has a US App Store price of US$47.99 per year and no free trial. The price, currency, taxes, available features, and renewal terms shown in the app and Apple's purchase confirmation govern your purchase. Do not buy a plan unless the displayed features meet your needs.
Apple processes iOS purchases through your Apple Account. RevenueCat helps us validate purchases and determine subscription access. We do not receive your full payment card details.
The annual subscription renews automatically unless you cancel through Apple before the renewal date. Apple can charge for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends. To avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends. Unless Apple states otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period.
Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your Apple device. See Apple's cancellation instructions. Removing MenuCraft, deleting local data, or requesting account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Use Restore Purchases in the paywall with the Apple Account that made the purchase if you need to restore eligible access. Restoration depends on the original purchase and account state. Contact support if access does not return.
Apple handles refund requests for App Store purchases under its applicable rules. See Apple's refund instructions. These terms do not remove any refund or other consumer rights that applicable law gives you.
We may change future prices or plan features. Any subscription price change follows Apple's notice and consent rules where applicable. The purchase confirmation and any renewal notice show the terms that apply to you.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use MenuCraft to:
- Submit unlawful content, violate another person's privacy, or infringe intellectual property rights.
- Access another person's account or data without permission.
- Bypass payment checks, access controls, rate limits, or security measures.
- Disrupt the service, introduce harmful code, or place an unreasonable load on our systems.
- Resell access or copy the app for commercial distribution without our permission.
We may investigate misuse and restrict access where needed to protect users or the service. Any restriction remains subject to your rights under applicable law.
8. App licence and third-party services
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use MenuCraft as permitted by these terms and the applicable App Store rules. We and our licensors retain rights in the app's software, branding, and other materials, apart from your content.
Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS app. These service terms do not replace any mandatory Apple terms. Apple is not responsible for our service or our support obligations except where its own terms or applicable law provide otherwise.
Third-party services and external links may have their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability can affect features that depend on them.
9. Availability and limits of responsibility
We provide MenuCraft on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or results that fit every purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties that the service is fit for a particular purpose or that every result is accurate.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from use of the service. Our total liability for claims related to MenuCraft is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid for MenuCraft in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
These limits do not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies continue to apply.
10. Ending use and changes to the service
You can stop using MenuCraft at any time. Cancel any Apple subscription separately. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email support@insightlabs.ai with the subject “MenuCraft account deletion.” The Privacy Policy explains data retention and request handling.
We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these terms, a security risk, or a legal requirement. We may also change or discontinue the service. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice of changes that materially affect a paid service. Any refund or other remedy required by law remains available.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app, service providers, or applicable requirements change. We will update the effective date on this page and provide notice of material changes through an appropriate available channel. Where the law requires consent to a change, we will seek it. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and cancel any renewal you do not want.
12. Governing law and contact
Singapore law governs these terms, subject to mandatory protections under the law that applies to you as a consumer. Singapore courts have jurisdiction unless applicable consumer law gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere. Nothing in these terms removes that right.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
For service questions, complaints, or disputes, contact support@insightlabs.ai. Please identify MenuCraft and describe the issue so we can respond.
