Privacy Policy for Future You
Last Updated / Effective Date: October 12, 2026
Plain-English Summary
What we do with your data. We use the information you choose to provide, including your goals, values, journal entries, and personal history, to personalize Future You. Optional Guide features use your messages and, with your consent, selected personal history and voice input. We use account information, subscription records, and app activity to provide access, support the app, and understand how people use it. We do not sell your personal content for money. We do not deliberately send private onboarding answers, journals, desires, or Guide messages as advertising event content. Relevant content does go to service providers when needed to provide a feature you use. Advertising and attribution partners can receive limited identifiers and app events where those integrations operate, as described below.
Your control. You can use available app controls or contact support to request access, correction, or deletion. Your rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law. On iOS, Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking controls IDFA access. It does not stop all analytics or all data transfers.
Who Future You is for. Future You is for people aged 13 and older. It is not for children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law. Apple processes App Store purchases on iOS. Google Play processes Play Store purchases on Android. RevenueCat helps us verify purchases and manage access. We do not receive payment card details.

1. Introduction / Who We Are
Welcome to the Privacy Policy for Future You, a manifestation and wellness app that helps you set intentions, track gratitude, and listen to personalized audio stories and affirmations. Future You is operated by Summit Intelligence Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 202441229E), a private limited company incorporated in Singapore, doing business as Insight Labs ("Insight Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). Our registered office is at 152 Beach Road, #23-02 Gateway East, Singapore 189721. Summit Intelligence Pte. Ltd. also operates Counter AI under the "Summit Intelligence" brand. We build tools that support personal growth while respecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use Future You on iOS or Android. It applies to all users worldwide, including those in Singapore, the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), and California. By using Future You, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Future You offers paid access through the App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android. Available plans, prices, and any eligible free trial appear before purchase. RevenueCat provides purchase and subscription status so we can manage access. The applicable store processes payments. We do not collect or store payment card details.
Please note: Future You is not a substitute for professional mental health advice, therapy, or medical treatment. The content generated by Future You is for inspirational and wellness purposes only. If you are experiencing mental health challenges, please consult a qualified professional.
This policy was last updated and becomes effective on October 12, 2026. If you have questions, contact us at support@insightlabs.ai.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect information that is necessary to provide and personalize Future You, and we ask for your explicit consent where required — especially for sensitive details.
Our collection falls into three categories: information you provide directly, information collected automatically through your use of the app, and information we receive from third parties.
2.1 Information You Provide
Account and contact details
Future You can create an anonymous account so your content and app access have an account identifier. You can choose to link an account through Sign in with Apple on iOS or Google sign-in on Android. The sign-in provider can supply your name, email address, and provider account identifier. Apple may supply a private relay email address.
Onboarding responses
During setup and later app use, you can provide information to personalize your experience. The information you share here powers all future personalization, so we retain it alongside your account. You can decline to answer any question, though doing so may limit personalization. Onboarding responses include:
- Basic demographics: gender, sexuality, age range, whether you have children.
- Work: type of work and free-text feelings about work.
- Self-description: free-text description of who you are.
- Life events and struggles: free-text descriptions of life-shaping events and current challenges (which may touch on mental health, grief, or emotional topics).
- Relationships: relationship status, names and relationships of important people in your life, and descriptions of an ideal partner.
- Values and goals: priorities, what resonates with you, manifestation goals, dream city and home descriptions, and details about a specific person you may be manifesting about (which may include real names).
Some of this information qualifies as sensitive personal data under GDPR Article 9 and the CCPA/CPRA — for example, details about sexual orientation, relationship status, beliefs, or mental health. We ask for consent where required and use relevant information to provide the personalization features you choose. We do not deliberately include this private content in advertising events or sell it for money. You can request removal of your account data through account deletion. Guide also provides controls to disable personal-history use, forget derived memories, and clear conversation history.
We do not receive payment card details. The applicable store processes payments, and RevenueCat provides purchase and subscription records.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to deliver Future You's core features, manage your account, and meet our legal obligations. For EU and UK users, our processing is based on the following lawful bases under Article 6 of the GDPR (and, where applicable, Article 9 for sensitive data):
- To provide and personalize Future You (Art. 6(1)(b) — contractual necessity). We use your account details, onboarding responses, and user-generated content to create tailored audio stories, affirmations, and journaling tools.
- To manage subscriptions (Art. 6(1)(b) — contractual necessity). RevenueCat data helps verify your trial or paid access so we can deliver premium features.
- To process sensitive onboarding information (Art. 6(1)(a) / Art. 9(2)(a) — explicit consent). Relevant sensitive details, such as sexuality, beliefs, struggles, or free-text references to named individuals, can be processed by our personalization services with consent where required. We do not deliberately include this private content in advertising events or sell it for money. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
- To measure and improve our advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests; and consent for tracking where required). We and our advertising and attribution partners (Meta, AppsFlyer, Branch) use device identifiers and app events — such as installs, sign-ups, offer views, and purchases — to understand which campaigns bring people to Future You and to optimize our marketing. On iOS we access the IDFA only with your App Tracking Transparency permission. We do not deliberately include private personal content in advertising events.
- To improve and analyze the app (Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests). Automatically collected data, such as usage events and device info, helps us debug issues, optimize performance, and understand feature usage. We balance this against your privacy by minimizing data and limiting retention.
- To secure Future You and prevent fraud (Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests). We use diagnostic information and request metadata to detect unusual activity and crashes.
- To comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). We may use data to respond to valid legal requests.
Outside the EU and UK we follow the same principles to protect your privacy.
4. How Your Information Is Shared With Service Providers
We do not sell your personal information for monetary payment. We do share limited information — such as device identifiers and app events — with advertising and attribution partners (including Meta) to measure and optimize our own marketing; under some privacy laws this may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and you can opt out as described in Section 7.2. Otherwise, we only share information with trusted service providers who help us operate Future You, and only the minimum data needed for their role. We select providers to supply the listed features. Contact support for information about a particular provider or transfer.
| Service | Role | Data involved | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication, database, edge services, realtime sync, and private storage | Account information, personalization responses, personal content, Guide messages and memories, and uploaded media | Provide account access, store content, and operate app features |
| Apple — Sign in with Apple | Optional iOS authentication | Name, email or relay address, and Apple account identifier | Link or access your Future You account |
| Google sign-in | Optional Android authentication | Name, email address, Google account identifier, and authentication token | Link or access your Future You account |
| Apple App Store and Google Play | Purchases and subscriptions for the applicable platform | Store purchase and subscription records | Process payments and provide purchase status |
| Cloudflare Workers and R2 | File delivery and storage | Internal user identifier, generated audio, and uploaded photos | Store and deliver app content |
| OpenRouter and the model provider selected for the feature | Story text, affirmations, and Guide replies | Relevant personalization fields, submitted messages, and selected personal history where consent applies | Produce requested text |
| Speechify | Default narration and optional spoken Guide replies | Text selected for speech and voice settings | Produce requested audio |
| ElevenLabs | Eligible classic voices when enabled | Text selected for speech and voice settings | Produce classic-voice audio |
| OpenAI | Optional Guide voice transcription | Voice input transmitted through our Supabase service | Convert a voice message to text |
| fal | Generated story images | Image prompts derived from story context | Create requested images |
| RevenueCat | Purchase and entitlement management across stores | App user identifier, purchase records, and subscription status | Verify paid access and restore purchases; configured integrations can forward purchase events for advertising measurement |
| Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Expo push services | Android push delivery | Notification token, delivery metadata, and notification content | Deliver enabled notifications |
| PostHog | Product analytics and configured session replay | Account or anonymous identifier, app interaction events, device metadata, IP-derived approximate location, and session replay where enabled | Measure app use and diagnose problems |
| Advertising and attribution partners, including Meta, AppsFlyer, Branch, AppStack, and TikTok | Advertising measurement and attribution where configured | Device and account identifiers, acquisition information, app activity, and purchase events | Measure and improve our marketing |
Advertising integrations can differ by platform. On iOS, we access the IDFA only with App Tracking Transparency permission. We do not deliberately include private onboarding answers, journals, desires, or Guide messages in advertising event payloads. This restriction does not prevent the transfer of relevant content to the processors that provide requested features. Session replay can capture screen content where replay is enabled and masking does not cover a surface. We apply replay privacy controls, but these controls do not establish that every surface or earlier app version masks all personal content.
Guide uses private account storage for messages and derived memories. It uses selected personal history only after the relevant consent. You can disable personal-history use, forget memories, clear Guide history, or delete your account. Optional voice input passes through Supabase to OpenAI for transcription. The Guide database does not store the original recording. Spoken replies can use private audio storage.
You can delete generated stories and other personal content through the available app controls. Account deletion provides a broader removal request.
6. Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide Future You, meet our legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
Account information and personal content remain associated with your account until you remove the content or delete the account, subject to records needed for security, legal obligations, or disputes. Guide provides separate history and memory controls. Generated media and analytics can use different storage and retention systems. Store and service-provider purchase records can remain subject to their own legal obligations.
For an account or data removal request, use Settings > Delete Account or our account-deletion request page. Contact support@insightlabs.ai for the scope and status of a request. Account deletion and app removal do not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription separately through the store where you purchased it.
7. Your Rights
You have meaningful control over your information. To exercise any of the rights below, you can use the in-app account tools or email support@insightlabs.ai. We verify account ownership before we fulfill a request and respond within applicable legal time limits.
7.1 GDPR Rights (EU / UK)
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete information — for example, update your onboarding details.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), including closing your account.
- Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, such as analytics or advertising measurement.
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdraw consent at any time for any processing based on consent, including sensitive onboarding data and tracking. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your data properly.
We will respond to GDPR requests within one month. Where a request is particularly complex, we may extend this by up to two additional months and will let you know within the first month.
7.2 CCPA / CPRA Rights (California Residents)
Under the CCPA and CPRA you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties it is shared with, for the preceding 12 months.
- Delete personal information we have collected, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. Future You treats onboarding responses (including sexuality, beliefs, and similar details) as sensitive personal information and uses relevant details to deliver and personalize Future You. We do not deliberately include private personal content in advertising events.
- Opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money, but our use of advertising and attribution partners (such as Meta) to measure and optimize our marketing may qualify as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. You can request an opt-out by emailing support@insightlabs.ai. On iOS, declining Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt or disabling Tracking restricts access to the IDFA. That control does not stop all analytics or all data transfers. Android does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency control. The app does not currently provide a general analytics opt-out switch.
- Non-discrimination. Exercising your rights will never affect your access to Future You or the price you pay.
We will respond to CCPA requests within 45 days and may extend this by another 45 days when necessary, as permitted by law.
7.3 PDPA Rights (Singapore Residents)
Because Insight Labs is based in Singapore, your personal data is handled in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"). Under the PDPA you have the right to:
- Request access to personal data we hold about you, together with information about the ways in which it has been used or disclosed within the past year.
- Request correction of any personal data we hold about you that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw consent at any time for the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to continue providing Future You to you; we will let you know the likely consequences before we act on your request.
- Be notified of any data breach that is likely to result in significant harm to you, in accordance with the PDPA's data breach notification framework.
Our designated contact for PDPA matters is support@insightlabs.ai, which also serves as the contact for our Data Protection Officer. We will respond to PDPA requests as soon as reasonably possible and within the timeframes required by the PDPA.
If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with the PDPA, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) of Singapore at https://www.pdpc.gov.sg.
Users in other jurisdictions have comparable rights where local law applies. If you are not satisfied with our response to any privacy request, please contact us so we can work with you to resolve it.
8. Data Security
Protecting your information is a priority. We use industry-standard security practices, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest within our infrastructure.
- Access controls so that only essential personnel can access production systems.
- Vendor review — we select service providers that implement recognized security practices.
- Minimization — we collect and retain only what we need.
No system is fully impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and relevant regulators as required by law. If you suspect a security issue, please email support@insightlabs.ai.
9. International Data Transfers
Insight Labs is based in Singapore, and several of our service providers operate globally. Your information may be processed in Singapore, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other countries where our providers operate.
For information about the safeguards that apply to your data and the providers used for your features, contact support@insightlabs.ai.
10. Children's Privacy
Future You is for people aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law. Where local law requires parental consent for a minor’s personal-data processing, that consent is also required before the minor uses the relevant features. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to Future You, please contact support@insightlabs.ai so we can investigate.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features, changes in our service providers, or changes in the law. We will notify you — for example, through an in-app message or email — and we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Future You after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
